I forgot this adorable photo of the nephews (w/Dad's help) blowing out the birthday candles last week. It's rare to capture Nephew1 smiling like that--it was a lucky shot. Can you tell the theme for the party was pirates?
Sorry for doing this here but I saw you on a KAL and were the first person with a regular blog so I thought I would take my chances. I am attempting the swallowtail shawl but am at a loss as to what to do after budding lace 2...Instructions say to do the chart 14 times total but how do you go from the first time (6 rows complete, ending with 39 sts) to starting the second time (go back to row 1 which only calls for 27 sts). I realize it has something to do with the pattern repeat but can't figure out what to do (can you tell I am new to lace, and relatively new to knitting, and in way over my head)? Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks blogspotregina at charter dot net
