Well, I can't say I've read even half of these books, but there are some I just don't necessarily care to read, so I can't feel bad about my poor showing. There are some I might eventually read, but they're not on my "to-be-read" list, so I didn't italicize them.

Hi! I found my way here from Wendy's blog, where you asked about what to do with a gorgeous laceweight. I just finished the Alpine Lace shawl with 60 grams of a yarn that is incredibly fine - 1800 yds/100 gms, AND subtly vareigated in blues and purples. The Alpine Lace is perfect for the yarn, because it is knit from one end to the other, with no knit-on border to make for awkard blotches of color around the edge. I used size 2 needles, and worked the shawl with 7 diamonds across instead of 6, and a few other changes.
Hi Judy-- I, too, came from Wendy's blog. I'd highly recommend the Shoalwater Shawl by fiber trends for your variegated laceweight. It creates a beautiful shawl and the color changes are an integral part of the pattern.
